5/14/07 "Life Rolls On"

I have been feeling really shitty for a long time. About a month and a half so far. I have been poked, prodded, and tested repeatedly. I was suspected of having Lupus, Rhematoid Arthritis, MS, or some other horrible autoimmune disorder. My entire body has ached, cramped, and spasmed including joints, muscles, bones, and even my nerves. I have been exhausted and have a sinus/cold thing. Well on Friday they finally figured out what it was. I tested positive for two out of three strains of mono. The third strain test still isn't back. Luckily, it isn't as serious as the other suspects, but there is no treatment or cure. It has to run it's course and that could take any amount of time. What is even worse than me having it and being so sick is that I think I have passed it on. Although, it is usually only passed by kissing or drinking/eating after someone. Weaser is a prime target. :( She is not feeling well at all and hasn't for quite sometime. She can hardly talk today and I think she has strep. Which is another grand side effect of mono. She has also been hurting and exhausted like myself. We are going to get her to the doctor as soon as possible for testing. Also, on my birthday a couple of my friends drank out of my drinks at the bar without me knowing and have also not been feeling well. I am really hoping for their sakes it isn't mono and just something minor and unrelated. I am hanging in there but each day is a major struggle. Sometimes I feel like I am just going to pass out and die, too weak to continue on. That is a horrible feeling.

On a happier note... I did buy my new car. Weaser and I both love it! I am so glad we finally agreed on a car! :) She wasn't thrill with other options I was looking at. We are definitely ready to go camping now. Her name is Daphne the Dodge Caliber. She is a used 2007 SXT in the sunburst orange color with orange color keyed seat and center console. She drives fantastic and gets 26 MPG city and 30 mpg highway, even better than my old grand am! She also has an ipod aux plug and holder, lighted cup holders, and a cooler in the dask to keep your drinks cold. The guys at Premier Pontiac, Buick, and Gm in downtown Morgantown are fantastic. They go above and beyond what is expected of them everytime I am there. They will do anything and everything they can to keep their customers completely happy and leave with exactly what they wanted. If you go down there ask for Don Boclair (General Manager) and make sure you tell him you know Nellie. They will treat you very good. This is my third car I bought from them. Their service department also rocks. They are very talented and quick on car repairs. I am loving the silver pinstriping to the hood and side the detail guy added specially for me. Thank you so much!!! We love you!

5/7/07 "My Birthday Rocked"

I know it has been forever since I posted a blog. It's been craaaazy busy around here with my work, trying to buy a new car, Weaser's new job, and my birthday. I have been meaning to post for awhile, but now I am updating. I had a fantastic birthday week all thanks to Weas. Yes, I said week. On her request... well more like demand... I was treated like a princess all week long! I have to say I am sad to see my birthday end. LOL

On Friday night, Shena helped Weas plan a get-together at Mi Pueblo here in Fairmont. Those attending were Angela, Rob, Sharnae, Chaz, Weas, me, Kayla, Tanya, and Shena. It was so great to hang out with them. Just makes me miss the everyone at the CDC even more than I already do. My stomach was hurting from laughing so hard. Boy, do you guys have some stories... LOL Pitchers of Strawberry Daiquiris and Strawberry Margaritas were floating around and I didn't get much help with them. I thought Weas was going to have to carry me out of there. LOL I think everyone's highlight of the night, except for my own was the bombarding sombero incident. Yes, of course very sneakily they told them about my birthday. I never even saw it coming. It was actually quite frightening! They literally scared the crap out of me and I hate to admit it but I believe a video of it is floating around somewhere. LOL I had a blast and thank you all for coming out and celebrating with me!!!

On Saturday, we planned a night out at Weezie's. Weaser's sister Susie came in from PA and brought their mom's big SUV. Perfect to tote around a bunch of drunks! LOL The night actually began on a bad note with us taking forever to get ready. We were supposed to leave Fairmont at 9pm. Yeah, that so didn't happen we didn't leave our apartment till 11pm. Oooops! Then, we went to pick up Jeff and Shanda... that didn't go so well either. Nothing like already being late and then getting lost for another 15 minutes! LOL Well once we got the Weezie's it seemed like the worst was behind us.... little did we know. I had a blast hanging out with Susie, Weas, Jeff, Shanda, Saylah, Sara, Laura, Steven, Weezie, and Eric. Thinking about the night several things come to mind cupcakes, shots, laughing, pitchers of pussy juice, dancing, flowers, pictures, and BAD LUCK! We closed the bar down and was heading to Eatin' Park. Sadly, that never happened. We were all getting into the car when Weas discovered it wouldn't start. There were very few sober people in the parking lot when chaos broke loose. I have to admit I was the token drunk girl since I was by far the drunkest so things could be a little distorted and confusing from my memory and perspective. First, everyone thought it was the battery. There was arguing, screaming, jumper cables flying out, and then the Explorer being pushed backward into the street. That guess got squashed pretty quickly by the sober people when all the lights were coming on. The next step had to be get it out of the street. So, they pushed it down the hill into the gravel lot. It seemed like to me anyway that this entire situation took forever. I do remember being passed from person to person to babysit the drunk girl, lying on the concrete, lying in the backseat of the SUV, and then knocking over my birthday flowers over and getting water everywhere. They eventually gave up on the car. Luckily, Eric and Saylah gave all of us rides back to Fairmont. We love you guys! The ride home was then relaxing and Bob Marley packed! On Sunday, we had the car towed to Campus Ford and drove Susie back to PA. A very eventful and memorable night! I guarantee none of it will forget about it anytime soon!!! Despite, all the mishaps and trouble I still had tons of fun! Thanks guys!!!

:star: PLANS :star:

Planning on taking at least one picture a day. I keep my camera with me constantly now. Especially while on the road working. I can't bear to see something and not be able to capture it.

Weaser and I are planning future composites combining her poetry and my photography. Look for them in the future!

Spring is finally here! I have been having a blast capturing it and I am sooo far behind in editing and posting everything. I am very overwhelmed with it right now.

I have some commerical photoshoots coming up this spring/summer senior, wedding, and family portraits. I can't wait!
